Dog Friendly Holiday Parks

If you are searching for a dog friendly caravan park, Waterside is the perfect choice, with direct access to Bowleaze Cove which welcomes dogs throughout the whole year. We offer a number of dog friendly accommodation options meaning you are sure to find exactly what you are looking for.

We specialise in holidays for the whole family and, of course, that includes furry family members, too. We welcome all well-behaved dogs and their owners. Forget trying to find kennels or worrying about leaving your dog at home and simply bring them along to join in the fun.

We welcome all well-behaved dogs and their owners and with more families than ever deciding to share their lives with a 4-legged fried, the demand for our pet-friendly holidays is increasing dramatically. So, rather than booking your dog, or dogs (up to 2 if they are small breeds), into kennels, or imposing them on family and friends, why not treat them to a well-deserved holiday too.

Dog friendly accommodation

Although our sites are dog friendly caravan parks, that doesn’t mean we make the owners compromise on comfort. There actually isn’t much difference between our dog friendly accommodation and other caravans. However, for peace of mind all dog friendly caravans have decking or outside space.

For visitors booking dog friendly caravan holidays we just ask for an additional £49 for either one big or two small dogs.

Dog Friendly Holidays in Weymouth

Dog friendly beaches Dorset

If you are searching for a dog friendly holiday park, Waterside is the perfect choice, with direct access to Bowleaze Cove which welcomes dogs throughout the whole year. Nearby and also within easy reach of Chesil Vista are both West Bexington and Ringstead as well as Weymouth Beach itself during the low season. From Chesil Vista, direct access to the South West Coast Path opens up walks along the best that the Jurassic Coast has to offer including Chesil Bank and Fleet Lagoon Nature Reserve. Alternatively, a short hop over to the Isle of Portland and you are welcome at Church Ope Cove. If staying at Osmington, you are that bit closer to the delights of the Purbeck area with dogs welcome at Durdle Door, Kimmeridge, Lulworth Cove, Man O’War Cove and the beaches of Studland (if kept on a lead). Monkey Beach at Swanage is another year round option, as is Worbarrow Bay.

Dog friendly beaches Cornwall

Over in Cornwall, Tregoad, your nearby dog friendly beaches include Plaidy Beach which is best visited at low tide, Hannafore a mile to the West of Looe itself, Seaton where you will also find a good cafe, Downderry Beach which is on the coast path and south-facing Millendreath Beach (low season only and best at low tide).

Whether your dog likes to spend their time digging holes, splashing in waves or simply running free, beach time will certainly make for a dog friendly holiday whether visiting Dorset or Cornwall.

Days out

The most striking attraction on your holiday is almost certainly going to be the coast. From cliff walks to lazy beach days, there is something for everyone where the sea meets the land. However, for truly pet friendly caravan holidays in Weymouth or Cornwall, you may be wondering if there are any other activities you can enjoy with your dog.

Head to a picturesque town or village to soak up the local culture. Dogs are welcome visitors throughout Dorset and Cornwall so take them exploring with you.

Many of Dorset’s other famous attractions are ideal for visiting with dogs, too. Durdle Door, Swanage Railway, Old Harry Rocks and Corfe Castle are just a few places that welcome dogs on their days out with owners.

In Cornwall, take your canine friend to Pinetum Gardens, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Shipwreck Treasure Museum and the Eden Project (outside areas only) amongst other dog friendly attractions.

Eating and drinking

Places to Eat and Drink
