Weymouth Seafront and Harbour

See the incredible sand sculptures made entirely from sand and water by the Sand Sculptor!

Weymouth Sealife Adventure Park

It is fun for the whole family at the outdoor park. Sea-turtles, otters and crocs are just some of the marine life that can be found. You can also watch feeding time and enjoy the rides!

Chesil Beach

The long strech of Chesil Beach is a delightful place for a family day at the seaside. Kids will love jumping the waves, and it is a beautiful place to take a picnic and enjoy the summer afternoons.



Portland extends south from the main Dorset coast beyond Weymouth and is attached to the mainland by a narrow stretch of the famous Chesil Beach.

Abbotsbury Children's Farm

Kids will love feeding the guinae pigs, bottle feeding the baby goats and the fun and games down on the farm. The lovely farm scene is a delight for parents and children alike!

Abbotsbury Swannery

Jurassic Kayak Tours

A guided kayak tour of the Jurassic coast is the best way to see the beautiful rock formations along Dorset's coast. The tour will take you in and around Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.

Durdle Door

Durdle Door is a natural arch which has been formed through sea erosion and is the perfect backdrop to a family day at the beach. The Coastal Path runs along the top of the cliff by the Door.

Lulworth Cove and Castle

Try your luck fossil hunting on the beach around Durdle Door, or take a picnic and enjoy the incredible natural rock formation of Lulworth Cove. The castle is also worth a visit as it has extensive grounds and a museum.

Blue Pool & Teahouse
